AKUMAL BEACH RESORT

Overview: Unlike many all-inclusive newcomers, the Akumal Beach Resort has been around for many years and has undergone extensive improvements and expansion under several management companys. Currently it is under Italian management and is quite popular with European vacationers. The facilities now include a large beach side pool, several buildings for accommodations and myriad other improvements in facilities and services. The hotel rooms are all fully air conditioned with either two double beds or one king size bed, a private bathroom, colorful decor, and a lovely little terrace that looks out on the magnificent Caribbean. All are very nice and comfortable.
