Overview: This stunningly beautiful beach resort exudes elegance from the uniquely exotic decor of its reception hall to the tropical prints in its guest rooms. Located on St. Martins northeastern shore on Marcel Cove, surrounded by mountains and a 150-acre nature preserve, these two large properties will make you feel like you are truly isolated. And with the lineup of beautiful yachts at the propertys marina, you can pretend youre one of the rich and famous while you are here. For lounging, there is a 1600-foot-long beach, two pools, or a wide variety of water sports to keep you occupied. It only appropriate that the resort would have many restaurants and activities due to its remote location, 6 miles from Marigot, 7 miles from Philipsburg, 12 miles from Juliana airport and 3 miles from Grand Case. On the property, there are four restaurants, three bars (in the lobby, the pool and the beach) including French and Italian. There is also casual beachfront restaurant and one offering large breakfast buffets. If thats not enough, the culinary capital of Grand Case is just three miles away, offering 20 splendid gourmet restaurants. The older of the two properties, Le Meridien, was refurbished recently by a renown French designer. The guest rooms have large bathrooms and closets and the units near the marina have kitchens. Le Domaine is newer (built in 1992) and has marble baths and many have ocean views. The rooms in both sections have air-conditioning, hair dryers, satellite TV, refrigerators or mini-bars, safe deposit boxes and balconies or terraces. The properties are surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens.
