The hotel is set in 21 acres of landscaped gardens looking out onto Ferry Reach, a deep-water cove on Castle Harbour. The hotel has 201 rooms located in 11 low-rise lodges spread throughout the grounds. All rooms, regardless of type, have a private balcony or patio with panoramic view of Castle Harbour, air conditioning, telephone, radio, cable TV, safe, coffeemaker, refrigerator, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. The resort offers both room-only and all-inclusive rates. Grotto Bay Beach Resort has 4 Plexipave tennis courts, a fully-stocked tennis shop and resident professional available for group or individual lessons. 2 of the courts are lit so guests can enjoy tennis after sunset. Blue Hole Water Sports operates from the hotel’s dock and offers boat, kayak and windsurfing rentals while Triangle Diving offers dives to suit all levels of experience. The hotel has a heated freshwater pool with swim-up bar, Jacuzzi, private beaches and a gym. Guests can choose from several dining options. The Palm Court offers casual dining in a relaxed tropical atmosphere. The Hibiscus room is more formal and its menu, which changes daily, offers traditional European cuisine with a Bermudian flavour. Outdoors, the Bayside Bar & Grill serves hamburgers, salads and sandwiches. During the summer months the Bayside hosts a BBQ on Mondays and seafood buffet on Thursdays.
